This is a OFF ROAD READY 1970
FJ-40 that has over $25K invested. It has been used - not abused. It has
been maintained. The Cruiser has a rebuilt Cheve 308 V8 engine (4 yrs.
old) and a 4 speed tranny rebuilt last summer. No rust. Painted 3 years
ago. Pictures speak for themselves. THIS IS AN AWSOME TRAIL MACHINE or
DAILY DRIVER Frame-off restoration Chevy 308TBI truck motor conversion
with custom dual exhaust. Stock automatic transmission rebuilt last
summer CO2 Air Locking System Power Steering Reverse shackle conversion.
4 wheel disc brakes New radiator. 35 inch Mudders with full-size spare
Fenders are modified so that the tires do not rub. Full roll cage. Fuel
Tank relocated under the seats for Safety Custom sound system with Sirus
Receiver Lockable Tuffy Consol with headunit installed Cruiser runs

5 speed Toyota H55F transmission (w/ granny low 1st gear & 5th gear

"Survivor" FJ40. All original with the rims and hubcaps, rear
fenders uncut,
original seats, drivetrain, no bondo, probably original paint. No
lift, original
motor (un-rebuilt, still runs strong) and original driveline, jump seats
still in
it, hard top never been off (as far as I know).
It has had a very easy life for the past 10+ years. My father-in-law
passed away at
87 and was the owner for at least 10 years. He bought it from someone
else in his
neighborhood in Prescott who also just did forest road kind of wheeling
with it.
31 tires that I gave him for the snow but that about it for
modifications. Some
rust at the rear driver's corner, a couple dings in the sheet metal. The
original
seats are shot, but have had seat covers for years.

I have owned this cruiser for 7 Years. The previously owner completed a
complete
restoration to original factory specifications. The cruisers first 20
years was
spent in UT. There is no rust. All the usual rust spots have been cut
out and
replaced and sealed. The cruiser is original throughout and everything
works. The
only thing not original is the larger BF Goodrich 31X10.5R15 all terrain
tires. I
have all paperwork from restoration and maintenance records dating back
to original
owner.
During the time I have owned it, the cruiser has been used as been used
as a second
car. It has never been offroaded. It has been in too good of condition
to abuse. It
has been driven regularly and taken on several 400 mile trips. The
cruiser has been
maintained in Atlanta by a local Land Cruiser restoration shop.
